Neighbours Guttering Damaging My House

My neighbour recently had their gutters replaced and the fitter cut approximately 6 inches of my gutter off and joined the new gutter to mine with expanding foam and filled in the back with expanding foam too.

I had this next doors guttering dripped on to my property and damaged it over time. Subsequently this leaks and turns our garden into a quagmire and makes the bedroom damp when it rains. Posted on jun 30 2013. I am finding it difficult answered by a verified solicitor.

I now have significant damp coming through into my bedroom exactly below the join in the gutter. I live in a terraced house and my next door neighbours gutter is broken causing all the rainwater to pour down the front of my house instead of down their downpipe. Take photos of the damage inside and out. I need advice here as i am at my wits end. It is understandable anyone not wanting to get into a row with their neighbour but this is a very selfish of her not to respond. I have been trying to get them to reapir their gutter since march.

Start with a demand letter and hopefully they will understand that you are not playing games.
