Start by building the lower floor of the house. Now i cant even build a second floor because the game wont let me. At first it started with roofs not placing right. I tested the motherlode cheat to see if it still worked from the sims 3 and it did therefore with the extra money i decided to build a proper two floor house.

Build stairs going from the ground floor up to floor one and then build second stairs going from floor one to floor two this looks best if you do it in the corner or against a wall. Whats people lookup in this blog. I am playing the sims 4 on a macbook air. If i were to try to build one on the second floor it would place it on the first floor.

Method one step three. This can be any size but ideally it should be at least three squares wide and at least nine squares deep. Go up a level and build another room the length of the first room but starting three squares in from the front and ending three squares from the back. You may expand your house by increasing the size of rooms building new ones or creating another floor.

Hit page up on your keyboard to move up to the second floor view then build the walls floors etc from there. The sims 4 offers really wide opportunities for enlarging existing rooms without demolishing them. Delete the floor on floor one.
